Background
Armed with 25+ years of design, web and marketing experience, including eight years as the Web Manager for the School of Engineering at Rensselaer and three years as a Senior Web Producer for Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), I understand how to achieve results.
My tenure at RPI offered me the opportunity to tailor communications and develop web-based tools for a wide range of audiences—from the development and launch of magazine.rpi.edu, to producing the ENGtalk video series, to building the first faculty database and CMS for the School of Engineering. Plus, as an Adjunct Professor at the College of Saint Rose and Rensselaer, I have practical experience with effective teaching methods.
I thrive on finding creative solutions that are scalable, easy to implement, secure, and return results. I launched a Digital Asset Management tool for SUNY Empire State College, streamlining the storage, maintenance and delivery of photography and other digital assets. I developed a sustainable information architecture and timeless design standards for the Rensselaer Alumni Magazine, and Rensselaer School of Humanities and Social Sciences.
